About

Brittany Waldrep is a country singer/songwriter from Montgomery, Alabama. She discovered her passion for singing at the age of 15 as an outlet. This passion blossomed, and she immersed herself in every aspect of music. Her songs draw deep from emotions she’s experienced throughout her life. Relationships in her life as well as struggling with discovering who she was and the artist she was developing into.

She draws her influence from a diverse group of people adding to the depth of her understanding of music. From classic legends like Johnny Cash, Aaron Tippin, Steven Tyler, Charley Pride, Linda Davis, Joan Jett, Alabama, and Pat Benatar to modern artists shaping the future of music like John Rich, Demi Lovato, Joey & Rory, Ashton Shepherd, Randy Houser, Billie Eilish, Jamey Johnson, Sugarland and Taylor Swift.

Brittany started her promising career as a member of a musical theater group, where she realized she could do more than just sing. She found that she could dance and act as well. Additionally, she has toured and performed at the Hard Rock Cafes in 4 states; Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Florida. Her performances have earned two separate awards; Most Promising female vocalist and Entertainer of the Year, for multiple years, in an international singing competition. She has also walked in the footsteps of her idols by performing all over Broadway, at the Nashville Palace and John A’s.

In 2012, she attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and then transferred to Belmont University in 2015. She graduated from Belmont University in December of 2017 with a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in the Music Business. During her time in school, Brittany teamed up with the Country Music Association, on multiple occasions. While on the Happy Together Tour in 2016, she participated as a stagehand and was afforded the opportunity to sing at a show. She gives back through the Nikki Mitchell Foundation, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer and has worked with them for the last 2 years.

In early 2019, Brittany became a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), a major milestone in her career. During this time, she began the process of recording and releasing her debut EP that contains 4 original songs, that were fantastically cowritten with Tim McDonald. Each one of the songs has a very different feel to it, but somehow still represents everything that Brittany has experienced over the years.
